Three modes: find a percentage of a number, find what percent one number is of another, or calculate percentage change.
Multiply the number by the percentage and divide by 100. For example, 15% of 200 = 200 × 15 ÷ 100 = 30. Use the "X% of Y" mode above for instant results.
((New − Original) ÷ Original) × 100. A positive result means an increase; negative means a decrease. Example: from 80 to 100 → ((100 − 80) ÷ 80) × 100 = 25% increase.
A percentage point is the arithmetic difference between two percentages. If a rate moves from 10% to 15%, that's 5 percentage points but a 50% relative increase.
