Free online video tools

16 free video tools that run in your browser. No account, no uploads, no watermarks.

Editing video online usually means uploading a large file and waiting. These tools do the work on your own machine using the browser’s built-in video pipeline, so nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored. That makes them fast for short clips and completely private for anything sensitive.

Frequently asked questions

Is my video uploaded to a server?

No. The clip is decoded, edited and re-encoded inside the browser tab on your own device. Nothing leaves your computer.

What video formats work?

Anything your browser can play, which in practice means MP4 and WebM on every platform, plus MOV on Safari and most Chromium builds. Exports are WebM or MP4 depending on what your browser supports.

Why is a long video slow?

Your device is doing the encoding rather than a server farm. Short clips are quick; a long, high-resolution video will take time and use a lot of memory. Trim first, then process.

Can I record my webcam or screen?

Not here. The Hub deliberately blocks camera and microphone access at the server level, so no tool on this site can reach them.
